“I was diagnosed with Meniere’s disease 6 years ago. Meniere’s is a disorder of the inner ear that can lead to dizzy spells (vertigo) and hearing loss. In most cases, Meniere’s disease affects only one ear. Meniere’s disease can occur at any age, but it usually starts between young and middle-aged adulthood. I also have severe Sinus issues, headaches, ear and nose bleeds which put me down in bed, not able to move for days. I was missing work and I was at my wits end getting depressed. The ENT suggested surgery, and gave surgery only a 40% chance to help keep down the sinus and meniere’s, so why do any elective surgery. The ENT would not guarantee surgery would work, but before making any surgery decisions I wanted to try acupuncture. I had nothing to lose, nothing was working to help my situation.
Working with April helped both the Minieres and all the sinus infections that has been bothering me for years. My sinus congestion and any headaches, ear issues I have been getting are gone! The Meniere’s is virtually gone as well! Knock on wood, I do not have the vertigo, and the sinus mess in my head— GONE! NO MORE! I can breath out of both nostrils! And I do not get sinus headaches anymore. And my arthritic knees feel better as an added bonus.
